Alcalde Manuel Jiménez juramenta 5 nuevas Juntas de Vecinos en sector Brisas del Este
El alcalde Manuel Jiménez juramentó cinco nuevas juntas de vecinos, en un acto realizado en el sector Brisas del Este, donde instó a sus directivos a trabajar sin descanso para dar respuestas a los problemas que aquejan a sus comunidades.
Las nuevas juntas de vecinos corresponden a los sectores: La Nueva Esperanza, que preside Carela Villanueva; Brisas del Este II, presidida por Freddy Pérez; Invasores, que la dirige Santiago Martínez; Paz y Amor, que tiene como presidente a Víctor Cabrera. Todas corresponden a la Circunscripción 3 del municipio, cuyos directivos quedaron juramentados en un acto realizado en el centro educativo Minerva Mirabal.
Durante la actividad, Jiménez dijo que con la activación de las entidades comunitarias se facilitará con mayor rapidez gestionar las obras sociales que demandan los munícipes de ese territorio, a tiempo de valorar el trabajo que realizan estas entidades en los barrios, en beneficios de los jóvenes, niños y adultos.
Jiménez estuvo acompañado en el acto de los directores Ángela Tejada de Rodríguez, de Desarrollo Comunitario, Héctor Garibaldi, de Ingeniería y Obras, Edgar Minyeti, de Aseo Urbano, Jhonatan Liriano, de Comunicación, Manolo Dotel, encargado de Juntas de Vecinos del Ayuntamiento, entre otros funcionarios del Cabildo.
Las nuevas juntas de vecinos se suman a las 644 que ya han sido formalizadas por la Alcaldía de Santo Domingo Este, y que fueron presentadas recientemente durante un acto realizado en la Parada de la Cultura con motivo de celebrarse el pasado 31 de marzo el Día Nacional de las Juntas de Vecinos.
