MEM REABRE PARQUE TEMÁTICO DE ENERGÍA RENOVABLE EN CIUDAD JUAN BOSCH
El Ministerio de Energía y Minas, a través de su viceministerio de Ahorro y Eficiencia Energética, realizó el acto de reapertura del Parque Temático de
Energía Renovable de Ciudad Juan Bosch, espacio en el que se genera energía limpia con diversas tecnologías.
El ingeniero Alfonso Rodríguez explicó que el Parque se había inaugurado sin concluir en noviembre del año pasado y que estaba sujeto a terminarse para abrir sus puertas en febrero del año en curso, pero la pandemia retardó ese proceso.
»Lo primero que hizo el MEM fue hacer un levantamiento y ver las necesidades de este Parque. Descubrí que era una excelente idea para el fomento y desarrollo del estudio’, destacó el viceministro.
Rodríguez aseguró que el Parque Temático les brinda la oportunidad a las
personas de ver todas las fuentes de energías renovables en un recorrido de
apenas media hora.
Afirmó que este Parque se pone a disponibilidad de una comunidad (Ciudad Juan Bosch) que ha clamado durante la pandemia la apertura de éste para recrearse y apreciar las diversas maneras de generar energía limpia.
Este Parque tiene un área total de 25,000 metros cuadrados y posee 600 metros lineales de senderos al aire libre que recorren cada una de las estaciones temáticas.
Expresó que la idea fundamental es que este Parque no sólo sirva de
esparcimiento y fiestas, sino que sea utilizado como un centro de estudios, donde las personas que quieran hacer maestrías de energías renovables puedan venir a este lugar a hacer un levantamiento.
Rodríguez agradeció a los empresarios del sector energético que aportaron
equipos para este lugar de manera desinteresada.
En el recorrido por las instalaciones del Parque Temático, además del viceministro Alfonso Rodríguez, estaban los viceministros de Energía, Rafael Gómez; la viceministra de Hidrocarburos y jefa de Gabinete Walkiria Caamaño, así como Julia Drullard de Jiménez, gobernadora de la provincia Santo Domingo y Tomás Ozuna, administrador de Edeeste, entre otros.
