OMSA dispone de 43 autobuses para operativo Semana Santa 2022

Santo Domingo.- La Oficina Metropolitana de Servicios de Autobuses (OMSA) dispondrá de 43 de sus autobuses para transportar al personal de la Defensa Civil y del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) que trabajará en el operativo preventivo “Conciencia por la Vida, Semana Santa 2022”.

En un comunicado de prensa de la entidad, el director general, Radhamés González, reafirmó su interés en apoyar acciones en favor de los ciudadanos, a quienes llama a cooperar con el personal de prevención, a comportarse con moderación y evitar los excesos para que el operativo culmine con éxito.

Además, recordó su confianza en el trabajo en equipo. “Como he dicho anteriormente, cuando dos o más instituciones se unen por una causa, logran que el Gobierno funcione de la mejor manera posible”, expresó González.

Este operativo, coordinado y ejecutado por el COE, comenzará el Jueves Santo (14 de abril) a las 2:00 de la tarde y concluirá a las 6:00 de la tarde del Domingo de Resurrección (17 de abril).

Según explicó el director del COE, Juan Manuel Méndez García, este año se desplegarán 48,223 personas a nivel nacional que integran más de 20 instituciones involucradas en el montaje a fin de prevenir accidentes, asfixia por inmersión e intoxicación por alcohol y alimentos.

Se recuerda que la OMSA es una de las entidades que trabajan en coordinación con el COE para la preparación de acciones ante situaciones de desastres o emergencias.
