Mandatario dice apoyo a productos garantiza comida más barata a población
Para mitigar alzas internacionales el INESPRE mantiene 73 mercados de productores, 240 bodegas móviles a la semana; así como ventas especiales en 250 supermercados en todo el país
Santo Domingo.- El presidente Luis Abinader aseguró este sábado que los programas sociales del Gobierno son ahora mayores que nunca antes, en todos los órdenes, lo que sumado a otras medidas contribuyen a mitigar los altos precios internacionales y llevar comida más barata a población.
Adelantó que continuarán todas estas iniciativas porque sabe que hay mucha gente que necesita, ante el panorama internacional de alzas de precios, sobre todo por el aumento de la materia prima, a consecuencia de la pandemia del Covid- 19 y la actual guerra en Europa.
Insistió en que esos altos precios internacionales, en nada tienen que ver con la República Dominicana.
«Nosotros lo que estamos es preocupándonos por mitigar esos aumentos de precios internacionales» dijo el gobernante durante una supervisión al Mercado de Productores del Instituto de Estabilización de Precios (INESPRE), en la avenida Venezuela, en el sector de Los Mina.
El jefe de Estado citó entre las medidas tomadas por el Gobierno para contribuir a que las alzas externas impacten lo menos posible a la población, las ventas a precios especiales del INESPRE, subsidios a productores y una ayuda directa a quienes más lo necesitan.
Abinader explicó que a través del Inespre se busca que la comida llegue a los que más la necesitan y a precios asequibles, mientras destacó la abundancia de productos en toda la geografía nacional.
El director del INESPRE, Iván Hernández Guzmán, quien acompañó al mandatario, informó que esa institución mantiene 73 mercados de productores y 240 bodegas móviles a la semana, así como ventas especiales en 250 supermercados.
«Lo que estamos haciendo mucha gente lo necesita, vamos a mitigar los aumentos de precios a través del Inespre para que la gente pueda adquirir productos a precios bajos», puntualizó Abinader.
Con relación a la postura de sectores de la oposición quienes se oponen a la tasa cero a más de 60 productos que componen la canasta básica, el presidente Abinader dijo que ellos antes estaban de acuerdo con esta medida.
«Ellos antes estaban de acuerdo y ahora en desacuerdo, nosotros lo que queremos es llevar la comida más barata al pueblo, ellos pueden oponerse pero nosotros estamos tomando medidas en circunstancias tan difíciles para que llegue la comida más barata a todos lados», dijo el mandatario.
Reflexión en Semana Santa
El presidente Abinader aprovechó para hacer un llamado a la prudencia con motivo al asueto de Semana Santa.
«Pueden descansar, pero háganlo siempre con prudencia, hagan siempre sus actividades sin excesos y que la pasen con su gente querida, la familia, pero siempre con prudencia», expresó el mandatario.
