Ramón Chávez gana elecciones en SODOMEDI para el periodo 2022-2025
Santo Domingo.- El candidato a la presidencia por la Sociedad de Medios Digitales (SODOMEDI) de la República Dominicana, Ramón Chávez R., ganó la Asamblea Eleccionaria celebrada este sábado 22 de octubre, acompañado por el Movimiento “SIGUE” (Sinceridad, Integridad, Gratitud, Unidad, Eficiencia), hacia el Fortalecimiento Institucional, celebrada bajo el marco de la Feria Bolsa Turística del Caribe (BTC), en el Hotel Dominican Fiesta.
El movimiento interno SIGUE quien logró en las urnas la mayoría de los votos, está conformado por un grupo de comunicadores, propietarios y emprendedores de medios de comunicación digitales con arraigo y trayectoria reputacional entre los que figuran para el Consejo Directivo presidido por Ramón Chávez R., presidente; Rita Pérez, vicepresidenta; Elisabeth Gutiérrez de Moreno, secretaria general; y Mario Lara, director de Organización.
Asimismo, Luis Cárdenas, director de Finanzas; Adalgisa Corcino, directora de Relaciones Públicas; Omar Rivera, director de Asuntos Internacionales; Fahd Jacobo Yamani Salado, director de Capacitación; Cristina Piantini, directora de Cultura y Recreación; Juan Tomás, director de Asistencia Social; y Tirso Salvador Peña (Hanel Peña), vocal.
Mientras que, la Comisión de Ética y Disciplina está compuesta por Víctor Suárez, presidente; José de León, miembro; Simeón Alcántara, miembro. A su vez, la Comisión Revisora de Cuentas está presidida por Logan Jiménez acompañado por Amry Bencosme, miembro; y Margarita Brito, miembro.
“En primer lugar damos gracias nuestro Dios, luego, a los integrantes del movimiento “SIGUE”, a cada uno de los miembros de la institución que de una u otra forma ejercieron su voto por una u otra plancha, a la Comisión Electoral, por llevar un proceso diáfano y confiable”, puntualizó Ramón Chávez al momento de anunciar la plancha ganadora.
El reconocido gremialista motivó que, “de ahora en adelante, debemos seguir pensando en nuestros miembros y llevarnos mejor. Es un compromiso, tanto, del grupo 1 como del grupo 2, de impulsar y trabajar unidos por SODOMEDI y, formar equipos como está planteado en nuestros planes de trabajo. Somos uno solo, estamos unidos”, así lo manifestó al momento de pronunciar algunas palabras llamando al candidato presidencial de la plancha No.2, Héctor Méndez.
La Comisión Electoral certifica el triunfo:
Así lo certificó la Comisión Electoral presidida por Olmedo Jaquez, quien informó sobre la innovación del voto automatizado, “Tuvimos una parte innovadora que inició SODOMEDI, como la votación mediante una plataforma digital donde se garantizó el secreto del voto”.
Resultados del conteo
Los resultados del conteo fueron anunciados mediante el abogado notario, Bernardo Antonio Jiménez Furcal, de matrícula profesional 111 del Distrito Nacional, quien, públicamente, en el stand de SODOMEDI declaró con fe y testimonio que la plancha No.1, color rojo, resultó ganadora con un 56% de los votos, propuesta que tuvo como filosofía corporativa, “SIGUE”, Fortalecimiento Institucional.
“Certifico y doy fe que la plancha No. 1 obtuvo 65 votos y la plancha No. 2 obtuvo 51 votos, se declara la plancha No. 1 como ganadora”, así detalló el abogado Jiménez Furcal.
El pasado proceso electoral por SODOMEDI, promovió el tradicional voto presencial e incorporó la innovación virtual, para dar oportunidad a que la membresía a distancia participara en el certamen democrático para el período (2022-2025). De los 147 miembros con derecho a votos el 79% participó en el proceso electoral.
La Comisión Electoral estuvo integrada por: Olmedo Jaquez, Presidente; Juan Guzmán, Secretario; Robinson Castro, Ingrid Abreu y Marlín Romero, Miembros; además Milagros Hasbún y Pedro Santana, Suplentes.

Los miembros de la plancha No.2 que acompañaron a Héctor Méndez, quien aspiraba a la presidencia de SODOMEDI, fueron Ángel Fernández, vicepresidente; José Clariot, secretario general; Larissa Mejía, directora de Finanzas; Julissa Morel, directora de Relaciones Públicas; directora de Relaciones Internacionales, Ivón Espinosa; directora de Capacitación, Madeline Peña; directora de Recreación y Cultura, Ana Adames; director de Asistencia Social, Luis Suárez; Dilennis Evangelista.
