Organismos de socorro de Santo Domingo Este socializan Plan Operativo Semana Santa 2022

La Dirección de Gestión Ambiental y Riesgo del Ayuntamiento de Santo Domingo Este pondrá en operación el próximo miércoles 13 de abril el Plan Semana Santa 2022 en el que participarán más de 380 miembros de la institución, así como de la Defensa Civil, los Bomberos, la Cruz Roja y otras organizaciones del municipio.

Los detalles fueron ofrecidos durante una reunión realizada la mañana de este miércoles, encabezadas por el alcalde Manuel Jiménez, en la que participaron representantes de las 21 instituciones involucradas en el operativo.

Los voluntarios estarán ubicados en las principales avenidas de la ciudad como: Carretera Mella, avenidas Las Américas, España, Charles de Gaulle, Ecológica y San Vicente de Paul, ofreciendo asistencia a los ciudadanos que así la requieran, enfocándose en la prevención de accidentes y otros sucesos que se pudieran presentar.

Al explicar la importancia del operativo, Jiménez dijo que tiene como objetivo principal evitar accidentes y preservar la seguridad de los visitantes y personas que salen del municipio durante el asueto.

Previo al inicio de la reunión de socialización, el alcalde Jiménez dejó en funcionamiento la Mesa de Mitigación de Riesgo, la cual se encargará de velar por el buen funcionamiento de los equipos y se cumplan las tareas planteadas.

El operativo concluirá el domingo 17 con el acostumbrado carreteo que realiza la Dirección General de Transporte y Tránsito Terrestre (Digesett).
Jiménez expresó que la institución permanecerá vigilante durante ese período para prevenir cualquier situación que se pueda presentar.

De su lado, Demetrio Sánchez, director de Gestión Ambiental de la institución, hizo una recuento de los puntos en donde estarán colocados cada uno de los equipos que conformarán las brigadas y la efectividad de las medidas.

En el encuentro participó, además, la gobernadora provincial, Julia Grullard, la directora de la Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet), Gloria Ceballos, el intendente de Bomberos, Roberto Santos Méndez, el director regional de la Policía Nacional, coronel Orlando Severino, el director municipal de la Defensa Civil, Mercedes Campaña, la secretaria general del Ayuntamiento, Jehimy Núñez y el encargado de Operaciones del municipio.
